Shekinah Glory

Trevor maintains three websites, www.penfoldgenealogy.com and www.pennyfather.org provide
details on his genealogical research into his family roots, this website SHEKINAH GLORY is
dedicated to his Christian faith.

Trevor Colin Penfold was born in Cuckfield, Sussex.  His early years were spent with his parents
and grandparents at 282 Lordship Lane, a Victorian House, in East Dulwich.  He attended
Heber Road infant and primary schools and then Kilmore Secondary School in Forest Hill
and Thomas Calton in Dulwich. The family moved to 27 Colyton Road in East Dulwich, and
subsequently in 1966 to 105 Copers Cope Road, Beckenham, Kent. 

He left school and started work at the Board of Trade as a civil servant but joined the Royal Navy
as a Radio Operator after two years, at the age of 18.

He served on H.M.S Hermione, H.M.S Rooke a shorebase in Gibraltar and H.M.S Hardy on
Portland 'Workup' Squadron.
When he married his wife in 1973 he left the navy and pursued a career in Information Technology.
He is currently an 'IT' consultant in London.

The birth of his first son and child, in 1979 caused him to re-evaluate life's priorities, subsequently
leading to a 'spiritual experience' of some magnitude and resulting in him accepting Jesus as his Lord and saviour in March 1980.

Trevor lives in Beckenham, Kent, England. He attends Hope Church that meets in Orpington
and Bromley.
